I have been photographing babies and families since 2017 and am trained in safe posing for studio newborn! My studio is the perfect space for timeless and modern sets. what to expect
My Kansas City newborn sessions take place when baby is 1-3 weeks old. You will be booked on my calendar by your due date and I only take a limited number of due dates a month. It is best to get in touch with me as soon as you know you want to book a session for your newborn.
Sessions are inspired by your baby. As silly as that may sound it is true. Each session is approached with minimal props, no busy backdrops, or extra “stuff.” Each pose is carefully considered so that the features of your baby are the focus. Family portraits especially are focused on you and connections between each of you. Less is more, and the more details I can capture of each one of you the more special these photos will be over time.

Every session begins with a conversation. You’ll be welcomed to come to the studio before booking to see the space, and talk more about details in person so we can better customize your session and bring your vision to life. You’ll receive a welcome folder with everything we discussed during that meeting. You’ll also have a chance to browse through my collection of 50+ designer maternity and bump friendly dresses.
During the session I will set the studio environment for your newborn and make a welcoming space for older siblings with toys, books, and other distractions.
I will have coffee ready for you and your partner and my makeup artist will be here ready to start with mom upon arrival. If you didn’t read the above statement about only needing to bring your baby…. Well here it is again. Seriously, just bring yourselves, your baby, enjoy your experience with our makeup artist, enjoy your coffee, take a nap, and just get comfortable while I photograph your newborn and family.
Safety is number one priority with all sessions. I have taken several courses on the safety precautions to implement during a studio newborn session and my assistant is there at all times to help in spotting and giving me an extra set of hands. The studio is kept clean and all props and drops that baby or anyone else touches are cleaned between each session. If myself or your family is not feeling well during your session I have days that I keep on the calendar as backups to ensure we can get you back in as soon as possible once everyone is feeling better.
A few days after your session we'll have your reveal appointment where I’ll guide you through my carefully selected heirloom products and digital files to help you select which images you wish to purchase and enjoy forever.

Goldie is seriously such a pro when it comes to newborn photography! I had no idea what to expect during a newborn session and she answered all my questions during our consultation. I’m an introvert and was a little anxious to get out with a 2 week old baby and a toddler the day of our session. She had a makeup artist for me the day of so I didn’t even have to worry about my makeup while getting the entire family ready. So convenient! During the session the environment was calm and relaxing. She took her time and carefully posed my family and I. A few days later we were able to get together review the photos and put together two different albums. The entire process was seamless from start to finish.
